Use LinkAds on your own domain
Put your own address in your Instagram bio, stories or ads, and send it through your LinkAds link. Your website and its Google ranking stay exactly as they are.
Replace your-link below with the ending of your LinkAds link. Open this guide from a link in LinkAds and it fills it in for you.
Easy: yoursite.com/go/your-link
Add one redirect on your website from /go/your-link to your LinkAds link. Choose a temporary (302) redirect where you can, so you can change or remove it later.
Some builders only allow redirects to pages on your own site. If yours will not accept a full https:// address, use the Pro route below instead.
WordPress
- Install the free Redirection plugin.
- Go to Tools → Redirection → Add new.
- Source URL
/go/your-link, Target URLhttps://linkads.to/go/your-link. - Under the gear icon choose 302 Found, then Add Redirect.
Squarespace
- Settings → Developer tools → URL mappings.
- Add this line and save:
/go/your-link -> https://linkads.to/go/your-link 302Shopify
- Online Store → Navigation → View URL redirects → Create URL redirect.
- Redirect from
/go/your-linktohttps://linkads.to/go/your-link.
Shopify redirects are permanent, which is fine here. If you point it somewhere else later, some browsers may remember the old one for a while.
Wix
- Dashboard → SEO → Go to URL Redirect Manager → New redirect.
- Old URL
/go/your-link, new URLhttps://linkads.to/go/your-link.
Wix uses permanent redirects, which is fine here.
Webflow
- Site settings → Publishing → 301 redirects.
- Old path
/go/your-link, redirect to pagehttps://linkads.to/go/your-link, then publish.
Netlify
Add this line to the _redirects file in your site folder:
/go/your-link https://linkads.to/go/your-link 302Vercel
Add this to vercel.json:
{
"redirects": [
{ "source": "/go/your-link", "destination": "https://linkads.to/go/your-link", "permanent": false }
]
}Cloudflare (any website on Cloudflare)
- Rules → Redirect Rules → Create rule → Custom filter expression.
- When URI Path equals
/go/your-link, Static redirect tohttps://linkads.to/go/your-link, status code 302.
Pro: go.yoursite.com
A subdomain that sends everything after it to LinkAds, so go.yoursite.com/your-link opens linkads.to/go/your-link. Every new LinkAds link works on it straight away, with no extra setup.
With Cloudflare (recommended, free)
- Your domain needs to use Cloudflare for its DNS. If it does not yet, add the domain to a free Cloudflare account and follow its steps to switch.
- DNS → Add record: type AAAA, name go, IPv6 address 100::, proxy status on (orange cloud). This address is a placeholder; the redirect below does the work.
- Rules → Redirect Rules → Create rule → Custom filter expression: Hostname equals
go.yoursite.com. - Then: Dynamic redirect, status code 302, preserve query string on, with this expression:
concat("https://linkads.to/go", http.request.uri.path)Test it by opening go.yoursite.com/your-link. It should show your LinkAds message, then your page.
With your domain company (GoDaddy, Namecheap, 123-reg and others)
Look for subdomain forwarding or a URL redirect record. Point go at https://linkads.to/go/ and turn on forward path (sometimes called “wildcard” or “keep path”) if it is offered. If it is not, each forward can only go to one link, so use the Easy route or Cloudflare instead.
Why this keeps your SEO safe
- Your homepage and pages are untouched. Google keeps seeing your real site.
- The redirect only lives on an extra address that you share on social and in ads.
- LinkAds pages tell search engines not to index them, so they never compete with your site.
- Links in Instagram bios and posts do not pass search ranking anyway, so nothing is lost.
- Never redirect your homepage or your main pages to LinkAds.
